It'd be great if deployed active duty military personnel who have no way of connecting to internet were able to activate and use LR4.

My wife is an officer, currently deployed on a Navy vessel with no possible way to connect her personal MacBook Pro to the internet. It is also uncertain when, or if, they will get to a port and be able to find somewhere with wifi. They do have (limited) phone use, but I called Adobe & was told that is not even an option.

There are tens of thousands of Navy personnel in the same position, not to mention the other branches of service. That's a very large number of people, doing a fantastic service for this country, but aren't able to use Adobe software. Seems like a group that should surely not be excluded.

Hi Dave,

Sounds like you have misinformation. One shouldn't have to be online to activate Lightroom 4. Just enter the serial number and you should be good to go.
