I recently upgraded and installed LR 4.3 on my Windows7 x64 system. I had one instance where LR stopped working on a folder synchronize. I installed the LR 4.4 upgrade, and again had an instance where LR quit working on folder synch. Got the following error description in event viewer. Same exception code for both crashes.

What if you try a new admin user and try the sync under that user?
Wondering if you're hitting some permissions issues.

And are you syncing to a network or locally?

Pete, I am synching from my local hard drive to my LR catalog. Never had the issue with LR 3 x64, and I used it a long time. I do not use LR to import files, I use Nikon's software instead. Importing files hasn't caused any issues when I import a group of files into LR 4. when I have been working on things in programs other than LR, and then synch them by right clicking on a folder in the library, and choosing folder synch is when I am getting the issue on occasion.

Rikk, I saw that thread earlier. Doesn't seem to apply, because it deals with import rather than synch.
