Lightroom: A better text tool in the Print Module

I would like to have the same text overlay tool that is available in the Slide show Module also available in the Print Module.

In my opinion there is a need for a the possibility of a more flexible and more versatile way of adding text in the Print Module. The text oberlay tool in the toolbar in the Slide show module (just below the image window) is just fine: You can add metadata and custom text and - most important - you can drag the text to wherever you want it.

Please add the same text tool to the Print Module.

Thanks.

another take, and just the quickest highlights from the post I made in the LR4beta forum.

- Positioning; guides, centering, sliders, etc. like for the picture on the page itself
- edit box: more room for more text, or just user size expandable
- multiple text boxes? might be a stretch...
- styling, like in the water mark box

Even just porting the watermark dialog over would be great. Speaking of which, a little more flexibility there would be nice too, even though that is already pretty good.

This is probably more work than I realize, but it would be really helpful!

Thanks,

Justin

Indeed, this would be very useful!

Since Lightroom 4 Beta now has very robust text tools in the Book Module, I don't see why they couldn't be made available in the Print module as well.

I find myself having to jump to Photoshop in order to add some very basic text for images that I want to print and put up in a frame.

I am attaching an example of a recent print I made, for which I had to go to Photoshop.

Having this kind of flexibility in the Print Module I think is necessary and will be of tremendous help.

Thanks.
