Every time I try to import a LR3 catalog (I veryfied and optimized this catalog with LR3 before) with Lightroom 4 on my MacBook Pro (10.7.3) I get this error message:

"Ein interner Fehler ist aufgetreten. Database "/Users/bm/Pictures/Lightroom/Lightroom 4 Catalog.lrcat": columns LC_idx_filename, folder ara not unique Statement: UPDATE AgLibraryFile SET folder = ? WHERE id_local = ?;

and the catalog is not importet.

What is going wrong here?
What can I do?

With best regards
Burkard

Can you create a new, small catalog in LR3, populate it with a few images, and bring that one into Lightroom 4?

Do you have folder names on your computer that are the same but are on different drives?

My catalog has about 30.000 pictures, all RAW files, which live in one big directory on the same drive as the catalog file. If I split the catalog in a small one with 1.000 pictures the import into the Lightroom 4 Catalog is no problem. Maybe it's only one picture which causes the error and this picture is not part of my small imported catalog.
