This is a bug report for lightroom 4. Since adobe doesn't seem to care about bugs or giving me a way to report them, i'll do the next best thing and complain on the internet.

To reproduce:
Lightroom 4.0, nikon D800
set camera to NEF mode
flip switch to movie live view
press live view button
press shutter release button.

Camera will take a 16:9 aspect photo - 4800x2704 pixels.

Connect camera, open lightroom import. attempt to import

Lightroom says raw file not supported.

Bug number 2:
lightroom gives me no way to grab 'unsupported' files off the card. I blame nikon for taking away USB MSC mode, though.

whine whine. Complaining done. Thank you internet.

Download the latest Lightroom 4.1 RC 2. That should fix it.
