Lightroom 4 Beta - Layout Overlay

When I use the Layout Overlay feature, the placed image has a different aspect ratio. First, I exported an image to Photoshop and drew on some help and guidelines on a new layer. Then I deleted the bottom image layer so that I only have the guides. Save as a PNG and use this image as the Layout Overlay. But is has a different aspect ratio than the original image.

If I understand correctly, it's supposed to match the aspect ratio of how your using it in LR. So if you didn't prepare it to match that, it'll get stretched to match. I could be wrong about this.

Thanks for responding.. But I don't think the answer is correct. If I place an image with the SAME aspect ratio, it places it differently (different height). You can change the overall size, but not the ratio. Try it..it only takes a second to see what I mean....

I can't replicate that behavior.

??? Amazing.. I am using LR4 on an iMac. No matter what I do, I cannot get the overlay to the same aspect ratio. I have a screen grab attached. If I open them in Photoshop and drag 'm on top of each other, they are precisely the same size.

Maybe it's a Mac-only thing. I'm on Windows.
