Lightroom: LR4 Beta: Auto Import needs 'same as previous' develop setting

I often use auto import to shoot tethered with a medium format digital camera which is unsupported directly through Lightroom, so I have the camera manufacturer's tethering software running in the background and Lightroom watches the folder where the raws end up after each shot, then nabs them and puts them in another folder using auto import.

My problem is I often make small changes and tweaks to the develop settings, especially if I am shooting in natural light, which can change from minute to minute. The only way I can automatically get LR to apply the new settings to all subsequent captures is to 'set as default' which requires keystrokes after I have done my adjustments.

Tethered shooting has 'same as previous' to allow this, and in fact it is the default behaviour of all medium format tethering software, so it would very useful to have it in auto import as well for people like me who use it to allow tethering in conjunction with other capture software running in the background.
