Lightroom 4 (and 5) - I cannot send RAW file to program with export function

I can select "original file" in the export options and no renaming or moving and as only manipulation the start of an external program. This would be useful to send a RAW file to a diffferent RAW processing program - unfortunately it does now work.
Lightroom skips the RAW image since it already exists and it cannot rename it. Although this is ok for JPEGs or TIFFS, this is not useful for "original", since here it could simply ignore the copy task instead and start the other application right away.

This "feature" is very basic, but can be very useful to further work with RAW files. For example to develop it alternative RAW program, create a catalog or maybe ZIP it.

I tried the plugin - it works but it is not as comfortable to use and configure as the export.

I still hope the Adobe developers are able to insert just a few lines into the code to fix this issue.
I could think of something like this:

if (fileexists(newfile )&& (copymode==ORIGINAL)&&(destination_folder==orginal_folder)
{
// ignore, don't copy, don't skip
skip = false;
}
else if (fileexists( newfile ))
{ skip = show_skip_rename_messagebox();
}
