Lightroom: LR 4.1rc does not list my RAID5 A: volume bottom right of the import window as target

I am not sure if this happened on 4.0 as well, but I have an LSI MegaRAID RAID5 volume of 4TB that is not properly detected by LightRoom. All my photos and the catalogue is on this drive, I can open LightRoom and it lists the drive on the left hand side of the Library. I assigned the A: drive letter to it.

However, when importing photos from any source, the A: is available top right next to the arrow as target, but bottom right in the import window under Destination, the A: is nowhere to be seen. I have screenshots illustrating the problem.

This is under Windows 7 x64 Professional.

I think the problem is the drive letter designation of A:......I have a vague recollection that Lightroom doesn't like letters A or B as the destination drives. It probably works on the old concept that A or B will be floppy drives, OK for reading stuff from, but bad idea for storing original files on.

I could be wrong, my memory ain't what it once was, but easy enough to test by changing the drive letter to something other than A or B.

Yeah I thought so too but it is a bit of a pain to change. (I had shares etc). So I did change the drive letter to D: and now LightRoom sees it. Thanks!
