Lightroom: Only Some Images Import (LR 3.5)

I'm having a problem when importing photos into Lightroom using the Move function.

Occasionally, I get the error message "Some import operations were not performed. Could not copy a file to the requested location." However, I found that all the images involved would still be moved to the destination I specified, only that SOME of them would not be imported into the catalog. I cannot understand why, since all the images were from the same shoot, with the same image size and file extension. Is this just a LR bug, or is there something I can do to avoid the frustration of having to add those missing photos into LR, then manually rename my files (which I cannot do with Add)?

Hi Tori, I haven't heard of this problem myself. Have you tried updating to Lightroom 3.6 to see if you still have this problem?

Thanks, Jeffrey, I will try that and see if there's any improvement. I sort of feel that it is a bug because I know two other users of the same version - one has the same problem and the other is perfectly fine.

The only problem is... adobe.com seems to be down. I cannot access any of their web pages and so I'm unable to do the upgrade...
