LIghtroom 3.5 has stopped working. When I try to open LR3.5 I get a message from Windows saying "Adobe Photoshop Lightroom has stopped working.Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available."
No, this wasn't a new install. I purchased LR3 back in March. I tried all of the suggestions from rebooting to opening while holding the CTRL key and changing the catalog name to unstalling and reinstalling. I finally went back to my original purchase info in my ADOBE account to get my serial number and reinstalled from there. It worked. If you try to reinstall without that original info all it does is give you the 30 day trial version. I still don't know why it quit, but it has something to do with the Catalog. I'm going to spend some time reading up on how to use the catalog as I've apparently not spent enough time on that aspect. The crash happened when I was trying to reimport some unedited shots from a new external hard drive into which I had transferred most of my 200 GB of photos. Anyway, it seems to be working fine now and I'll brush up on the catalog info so that it doesn't happen again. Thanks for your interest.
