Lightroom 3.5 corrupting JPG files!

I'm running a trial of Lightroom 3.5 and am loving it so far--except that I am experiencing the same issue with JPG files that I have read so much about in LR 3.4. Has anyone else run into this with LR 3.5? I have stopped writing metadata back to the files for fear of corrupting more files. It has happened to some files that were taken on ancient point and shoots and also some that were taken on my Nikon D200.

I've checked my video driver and monitor profile. Any suggestions? The prior thread "Lightroom: 3.4 is corrupting my source JPEG's (no, really!)" describes my issue exactly.

You need to supply the same sort of information as the other issue. The fact that it is happening for two different cameras suggests you have bad hardware somewhere between taking the shot and transferring it to Lightroom.
