Lightroom vs Photoshop Videocard compatibility

My Open GL compatible Quadro M2000 refuses to work with Lightroom, in that Lightroom fails to see the card and gives Open GL fail as an error message; so it will not use the GPU.  The same card works fine with Photoshop cc and a Raw Processor from another company (GPU is used).  I do have the latest driver and now the latest version of Lightroom.  To me, Adobe, needs to assure a card that works in Photoshop, will work in Lightroom.  I have seen posts stating Lightroom has problems with some Quadro Cards, but for it to have issues with a card Photoshop is OK with, is to be nice; annoying.  Is there a work around other than maybe turning off 10 bit support that I am not aware of?  A big issue I have is support was zero help and one rep stated my card is not open GL compatible, which is anything but true.
