Guys at Adobe!

Please fix this bug: my main photo Drive is not visible at Import, not in the list at Source, or Destination if in the name of the Drive there is a language character other then english abc.... Mine is "Fotó". So far there was no problem! I work on Mac.

In Library I can see the Drive "Fotó", I can work in Develop, just the Import doesn't see it!

Plesae fix it quickly! Thank you!

Strange ! I imported like 50,000 pix from drives and folders named in Hebrew letters.

I'm not able to reproduce that problem on my LR 9.1 / Mac OS 10.16:

Have you tried restarting your computer?  Unfortunately, too many issues with LR are resolved by doing this.

If that doesn't help, Adobe is much more likely to address a problem quickly if they can reproduce it. As first steps in reproducing the problem:

- Copy/paste here the first ten lines from the menu command Help > System Info.

- In Finder, right-click the drive and do Get Info.  Include a screenshot of the General section, e.g.

Interesting... I have 10.13 High Sierra on the desktop (still the best Mac OS), never had a problem before like this with LR, only since a week maybe. Other interesting thing is, that I've just tried this thing on my 2015 15" macbook, which runs Mojave, and there's no problem like this... :-O

Restarting? :-) Pls.. I always turn off and on the computer.

Same things written, like in yours, just in hungarian.

I was wondering if the drive was formatted as case-sensitive (LR has many issues with case-sensitive volumes) -- but your Fotó drive isn't.

That the problem occurs on 10.13 but not 10.14 suggests that the issue is related to 10.13 (perhaps a bad interaction with LR).  I no longer have a virtual machine running 10.13, so I'm not able to test that.

Yeah, okay, but why only now, with the latest update?? This is why I think, it's a bug in LR v9.

It's certainly possible that something on Mac OS changed between 10.13 and 10.14, and/or something changed between LR 8 and LR 9, that creates a change in behavior. Without being able to reproduce it, and without access to LR's source code, it's impossible to say where the bug lies (LR or Mac OS), and of course it's mere speculation on my part.
