After upgraded to Lightroom 6.8 and attempting to backup the catalog, I got a message saying my catalog is larger than 4GB and I need to use 3rd party software to decompress said catalog. As far as I can tell my catalog is only 2.23GB...??? Also, the dialog contained in the explanation contradicts itself by saying in 1st paragraph 6.1 and later doesn't compress catalogs larger than 4GB and then later in the narrative it claims that update 6.8 does compress catalogs greater than 4GB..?? So which is it and do I still need 3rd party software to decompress catalog?

It has been acknoledged as a bug https://feedback.photoshop.com/photoshop_family/topics/warning-message-on-backup-lrcc2015-8It is a warning (an incorrect warning) than can be ignored.   Your catalog will still be zipped and can be unzipped using the unzip routine that comes with MacOS.

Thank you very much for the reply. I thought it might be a bug.
