Lightroom to ACR

I like the interface in Adobe Camera Raw more than Lightroom, but I do use Lightroom to organize my pictures. At the moment there is not a way to open files in ACR via Lightroom. If this feature was added it would greatly improve the efficiency of my work flow. Thank you

Would it really? Lightroom does not automatically pick up the edits you've made in ACR. You have to select the image(s) and choose 'Metadata - Read Metadata from Files'. If you forget that you won't see the edits, and you run the risk of even overwriting the edits when you make metadata changes in Lightroom and (automatically) write these to XMP...

I think you could fix this by having both ACR and Lr write edits to xmp...please correct me if I'm not correct on this.

As for the original question, I suppose the work around is Photo Menu > Show in Finder and double click...What is the Windows version of that menu item?

You're not correct. You would still have to use 'Read Metadata from Files', otherwise Lightroom will not pick up the edits and may overwrite them if you don't realise that.
