LIGHTROOM SYNCHRONISING IMPORTS IMAGES TWICE

latest LR CC classic Version.

a few times now i had Images imported twice,

the files are in the LR catalog already but when i use "synchronize folder" they are imported again, a second time.

so for example, i end up with 160 files in a folder that only contains 80 files.

it happens not always and not to the same folder.

i have no clue why this happens but it ́s an issue i only have with the new LR CC classic.

this is on a fresh win10 1709 Installation with a fresh LR CC classic installation and a new created catalog.

Hi Tanja,

Let me re write the problem so that we are on same page.
  •  You imported few images and they get duplicated whenever you try to sync them to cloud?

Is that correct?
Also, can you answer the below questions to better understand the issue.

  •  Do they get duplicated in the LR catalogue or even in the Windows folder?
  •  Are you trying to import the same folder again and that Lightroom is not detecting them as duplicates?
  •  Which file types are causing this problem?

Thanks,
Bhargav

it ́s what nearly 6 month now and this issue is still not fixed

 thanks for nothing adobe....

Are you trying to import the same folder again and that Lightroom is not detecting them as duplicates?
it happens when i SYNCHRONIZE a folder as i wrote.
the folder and files are already in the catalog but they are imported again when i SYNCHRONIZE a folder (rightclick on a folder  ->  synchronize).

the issue is with files that have german umlaute in it (Ö,Ä.Ü).
You imported few images and they get duplicated whenever you try to sync them to cloud?
no, this has nothing to do with the cloud.
i have given a link above where i describe that problem in detail.
see no reason to repeat that here. i waste enough time with bugs in adobe software... :(
