Lightroom Desktop: Stops responding when deleting two or more pictures

Lightroom stops responding when deleting two or more selected pictures at once by right clicking and selecting delete all photos, the same when simply pressing backspace with more pictures selected. Lightroom just freezes then.

Works without issues when deleting pictures one by one.

Did try computer restart, checking for new video drivers (there no any newer), ran system file checker, still the same result.

I am not able to reproduce on either Win 10 System in my office.

  1. Select two images in Grid View
  2. Right Click on one image and select Delete from Context Menu
  3. Select Delete from dialog
also tried:
  1. Select two images in Grid View
  2. Use [Delete] key
  3. Select Delete from dialog
also tried:
  1. Select two images in Grid View
  2. Use [Backspace] key
  3. Select Delete from dialog
In every test the Delete happened immediately and restore me to the application interface.

Note: Image originals stored on NAS and Cloud.

Have you reset your preference file?

The day after it started acting normally again without doing anything. Weird. At least I learned a new trick (resetting preferences file), will add into my debug procedure next time.

I do have the same problem. After resetting the preferences the error occured again. Running version 3.2.1. It seems like the dialog that contains the delete button is not displayed (or hidden for some reason). Hitting 'Esc' cancels the hidden dialog and lets me at least close the lightroom window normally. Until Adobe decided to fix this, I just drag and drop the photos I want to delete to the bin on the left panel inside lightroom.

In fact I am using multiple screen setup with this laptop, but it happened only at home, using built-in screen only. And I was probably using LR on the detached screen before, because it's bigger.

I can confirm it happens also with second monitor is connected now. There is invisible confirmation dialog nowhere, but pressing Enter confirms it and pictures are being deleted and Lr is responsive again.
