The "Stack images" text is missing from the control click menu as of Lightroom version 8.4

When I tried to stack the images via the top menu, stack images was greyed out so I could not stack the photos that way either. I'm working on Mac OSX 10.14.6

Are you trying to stack from a Smart Collection?  If so, that's the expected behavior.

Maybe we misunderstnd what you are trying to do.

Now when I select multiple image, I can ffrom the menu acomplish: /Photo/Stacking/Group Into Stack/

Or, I can right click on them, select Stacking, then Group into Stack (and others)

I can CTRL, left click and accomplish the same.

No keyboard shortcut however

MAC OS 10.14.6

One bit of confusion, I have never seen this presented in LRC as "Stack Images"
