Lightroom CC does not utilize CPU, memory nor disk when generating a videofile (slideshow) using the Lightroom Slideshow module. CPU load is only 10-20% and memory usage only 4GB (of 16GB available) and decreasing to around 750MB as Lightroom has been working for a long time generating the videofile. If I run a similar job in Adobe Premiere Elements, CPU load is nearly 100% all the time and the videofile is generated about 10-20 times faster than Lightroom. I'm using a PC with Intel i7 3770 processor, 16 GB RAM, SSD disk and have enabled GPU to offload the CPU. Any ideas why Lightroom does not utilize the power of the PC?
As lightrooms is working along generating the videofile slowly in the background, the PC is able handle any other job in parallell without any hazle. Is this a bug in Lightroom, or are there some settings that can force lightroom to utilize the power of the PC?
