Lightroom finally implemented a Ken Burns effect in slideshow presentations but it is so limited that it is essentially useless

what we need is a fully customizable Ken Burns effect that allows for:

- selection of start and end points and start and end frame sizes as well as transition speed selection
- would be great if different start and end frames could also have customizable shapes
- and/or implement a masking capability where, for instance you could have the effect of zooming in on a face in a group and encircling it with a vignette to ensure focus of attention on that face
- in fact would be great if could fade in/out the vignette and make it independent of the Ken Burns effect so you could simply selectively and gradually darken the undesired area and/or brighten the desired area without changing the frame size i.e. zooming in

Aperture has such superior Ken Burns effect that it seems a shame Lightroom can't, after all these years, come close to those capabilities

the Ken Burns effect is an absolutely essential feature for any serious slide shows
