Lightroom: Save adjustment masks to use in Photoshop

I'd love a related feature which would perhaps help implement yours: the ability to save the masks created in LR or ACR to use in PS. While I agree that inverting a mask in LR would be very useful, I also find that sometimes I go through a lot of work in LR to create a mask and then realize that I'd like to follow up with using that mask in PS.

Note: This conversation was created from a reply on: ACR adjustment brush mask inverter.

i think that's a great idea. Being able to save the masks as either layer or alpha would be a welcome addition. I'd also love having options for full mask fills and inversions, but i don't see that happening any time soon. CaptureOne has had these options for a while now, and there's a good chance that AdobeMktg doesn't want to be perceived as copying from a competitor. Even when the feature is needed...

The only workaround at the moment is to open as Smart Object in photoshop, allowing you to go back(into Camera Raw) and alter those masks.
