Lightroom Classic: Previews not updating after editing in Photoshop

Sometimes when opening an image in Photoshop (Edit in -> Photoshop 2020), and making a change - such as cloning out something, when the image is saved, the lightroom preview does not update - the preview clearly shows the object which was cloned out.  Opening the image in Photoshop again confirms that the edit has been made - but its not shown on the lightroom preview.  (latest November Updates of both LR and PS)

Zooming in to 1:1 on the image in Lightroom will probably update the preview.

What do you have specified as the default Preview type generated when you import? Also (and probably more importantly), in your PS Preferences for File Handling, do you have the Thumbnail option ticked and Always Save as the setting for Image Previews under File Saving Options?..

Lightroom generates its own previews. The settings in Photoshop should not matter.

The zoomed in preview also show the 'before' image. :-(
