Lightroom: Plugins greyed out after update

After reading your email November 17 I decided to try installing the latest Lightroom. Bad decision.
All my plugins were greyed out so I couldn't use them, which essentially meant I couldn't use Lightroom.
I didn't explore any further and restored my previous version from Time Machine and all is working well again. I will now wait until I am assured all the bugs are removed from Lightroom.

None of my plugins were affected by any update to Lightroom since updating from 5.7.1 to 6.0.0. They have all worked fine through 6.3 updates.

I suspect you have a different issue as there are not wide-spread reports of plugins being disabled. To which plugins are you referring? What was your previous version of Lightroom? What version did you upgrade to?

I heard of one person on Facebook who lost their external editor presets because store presets with this catalog somehow became unchecked in preferences - so which plugins are you missing specifically?

Actually, all my presets from Nik, Topaz, ON1, Macphun are involved. I reported this so you would know about it but I have restored to v 2015.1.1 and all is working ok again. I don't want to take any more time away from editing so I will wait until a later update arrives before I restore.
Thanks for all your great advice.

Just a heads up. We're not seeing wide reports of this, so I suspect it's a system specific issue we need to sort out. So I don't think update wouldn't fix this for you.
