Lightroom noise filtering is way better than Photoshop CC, why?

The noise filter in Lightroom plus the detail sharpening is pretty good (still far away from Noiseware's performance though). Question: Why is this filter not available in Photoshop? The noise filter with settings exists, but the results are not even near the LR noise filter performance. Please simply port the LR noise filter into PS!! Thanks, Matt

Thanks, Oliver, good hint! I will play with the Camera Raw filters, I never had a look because I thought it was for raws only.
And I meant noise reduction, yes :)

if you want to get fancy with it, make the layer you're filtering a Smart Object... that way you can edit the settings if you change your mind.
