Lightroom never renders photo.

This conversation has been merged. Please reference the main conversation: Lightroom Classic: GPU rendering will not complete in Develop Mode at Fit/Fill zoom levels

When making adjustments to photos the spinning "wheel" in lower right never stops and the photo does not render.
I've found a workaround which is to zoom in while rendering. Then the photo renders 100%.
Tried several things to try and solve this but without any luck.
Please help!

What version of Lr are you using?

Is 'Use Smart previews instead of Originals for image editing' is ON? If so, could you uncheck this checkbox and try editing images.

To open Preference panel
Mac: Lightroom->Preferences->Performance;
Win: Edit menu->Preferences->Performance.
