Lightroom for mobile: Used cellular data (a lot!) when it was set to only use WiFi

Since day one I have had the "Sync Only Over Wifi" option enalbed in Lightroom Mobile.  Today I logged into my cell carriers account and see I'm over my monthly data limit.  Checking my iPhone (6s) I see that Lightroom Mobile has used over 400MB of data in the past could days, despite it being set for WiFi only in the app.

I have since disabled the apps cellular data at the iOS level (something I normally do with new apps) but that doesn't erase the fact that it chewed through my cell data for the month.

Tablets that use Google's Android 3 Operating system can use a lot of data because they can sync with many different things on the Internet, such as email, calendars, RSS feeds and social networking sites. If you do not have an unlimited data plan with a wireless network provider, you may incur monthly overage charges. You can set your Android device to only use Wi-Fi and get around these data charges.
