Lightroom Mobile: Eternal upload, How to turn off, restart?

I have a subscription to creative cloud so I can send from Lightroom on my Mac to an iPad. It was working for 2 months. Now if I hit the cloud icon on Lightroom Mobile on the pad, it says uploading, 15 pending, for the last 4 days. I re-signed into Lightroom Mobile from the Mac, and I created a new collection and clicked on the icon to share it with Lightroom Mobile. I have turned my Mac and iPad on and off. iPad still says uploading, 15 pending. Help?

With the iOS8 update Apple changed the file path to image informations we store on the device. We will submit a fix shortly. In the meanwhile you have to delete Lr Mobile from your device and re-install the app to bypass the issue. Sorry for the inconvenience. I'll le t you know when the new version is available. - Guido

I am having the exact same problem and am glad to make sense of this. I had edited about 200 pictures on the iPad and went on my desktop thinking that wonderful creative cloud I am paying for would have my picks all ready to go so I could build a book for Christmas for my son.

How long do you think it will be before the fix because I do not want to lose all the edits. It was of a 10 day Harley Davison Trip with My Wife and Son in Europe. If I reinstall will I lose all my edits?

Looking for some advise.
Thanks

A couple of questions. What are you seeing when you open up the cloud status indicator (at the top right in collections view) within the LR Mobile app. Is there still sync processing? Have you already udated to Lr Desktop version 5.7?

Could you try to remove the sync.lrdata file and restart LrD. This would restart/refresh the sync (metadata only).
Removing the Sync.lrdata might fix whatever the issue is. Or, at least, might trigger it to occur again. So remove the Sync.lrdata, start Lr Desktop, and then wait until it either syncs or gets stuck again and create at this point a Lr Desktop diagnostic log which can hopefully provide some clues.

You can find the sync.lrdata file here:
On Mac it's at /Users//Library/Caches/Adobe/Lightroom/Sync Data/Sync.lrdata

You can trigger the diagnostig log via LR Desktop preferences -> Lightroom Mobile and when you hold down the alt key you will notice a generate diagnostic log button.

You can send me the LR Desktop diagnostig log - best as a private message with a downloadable dropbox link.

Lightroom Mobile - the problem is on the ipad front.
In the meantime I used the first solution. delete LRmobile and install again... Not a good option, but to have it not working was getting on my nerves.
If it happens again I'll this other method.

A re-sign-in to the LR Mobile would be also an option. - Guido
