Lightroom Mobile keeps restarting on its own

Lightroom Mobile keeps locking and restarting and losing any changes that have been made.
This has been going on for a while now, and with my subscription due I am seriously considering stopping and going to software that will actually work and not lock up.
No more recommendations to use this product.

I have a Galaxy Tab S2 and a Galaxy S8 and have the same problem on both.

Thanks. There was a new update released just yesterday for Android. Can you double-check to make sure you have the latest update installed and confirm whether it's fixed or still happening?

Thanks for the prompt reply. I have version 3.01 installed and that was an update from the 31 July. No further updates showing as yet and cannot see sn update through the Google play store.

Bah. Sorry, yesterday's update was for iOS. (Too many dates/updates on my mind). Let me ping one of our Android guys and see if they have any thoughts on what might be plaguing you.

Hi Stephen,

Does the Lightroom restarts randomly or it is something specific that you are doing within the app.
That would be really helpful for us to determine what exactly might be going wrong here.

Also once the application restarts does it prompts you the option to send the crash logs ?

Up until the Android Native update it was mainly cropping that was the issue. But since the update it is random and practically unusable. Some instances have been where I am just browsing images .

What is the version of the android that you are using on these devices?
Also if it is possible can you capture a screen recording for the issue?

I am using version 7.0 on both Galaxy Tab S2 and Galaxy S8. Taking a screen will be very difficult as the device locks and then closes and restarts the App. I have set the App to send feedback as sending manually become a pain because of the regularity of the problem.

I am having the same problem with my Galaxy S8 and have submitted countless crash reports, sent an email to lrfeedback, and posted detailed descriptions both bere and on the Play Store review page for Lightroom Mobile - no responses or fixes. Incredibly frustrating that Adobe cant make this work on Samsung's flagship phone.
