Lightroom Mobile: HDR recording extra photos

After the most recent update to Lightroom Mobile the camera has started acting strangely when taking HDR Photos. Before when taking an HDR photo the app would capture it and take a few moments to process the multiple exposures into one xxxxx-hdr.dng file which is imported into my lightroom catalog.

Now the camera takes much longer to process the images and I get 2 images instead. I get a xxxxx_shot_2.dng and the xxxxx-hdr.dng

I am using the app on a Pixel 3.

The most frustrating thing is the amount of time it takes to process the image and add it to the catalog. The extra photo is also annoying, it takes up storage space, I have to take extra steps to delete it, and such, but it is less pressing to my workflow than the delay in processing.

Sincerely,
Michael

In the camera, go to the settings and there should be a Save unprocessed HDR toggle switch to get rid of the extra file.
