Lightroom Mobile: Crashing after multiple edits

After applying one or more edits to a series of images, Lightroom Mobile starts to sync continuously and ultimately crashes. Edits can be just resizing but even other edits can cause a crash. The faster I edit, the faster it will crash.
If I wait after applying each update for sync to complete (5 - 20 seconds per image), it doesn't appear to crash as early (I can edit more images before crash occurs).

I can reproduce the error with cropping in rapid succession.
Other edits that seem to incur the crash are basic edits and applying vignettes. I don't know if it's specific to any type of edit.

Hi,

If you are not getting a crash log dialog upon restart (unless you selected the option to always send crash logs once before when seeing this dialog), a fix for this issue will be included in the upcoming release.

Just curious - what kind of images do you edit when this occurs (dimensions, type)?

Thanks,
Ignacio

Hi Ignacio!

I believe I've selected to always send from the time previous when I was having sync issues.

All of my images are RAW (on the desktop) which I import and convert to DNG. I have a Nikon D800E so 36mp images (big). Mobile, of course, are just the smart previews, which I believe are fixed dimensions?

Is this what you were looking for? Is this a known issue?

Thanks,
Michael

We had a memory pressure issue which users would notice in Loupe which has been fixed.
I haven't seen many crash logs coming in the last day so it should have been a memory pressure issue.

Thanks,
Ignacio

Are you able to identify a crash log? I can cause the crash and you can see if you can see the log.

No we cannot identify a user through crash logs.
The only thing that could work would you crashing several times after one another in a short time frame and letting us know what the time frame was.

Good evening!
Yes. I created a new collection with 517 images. Everything was completely synced a few days ago as I wanted a clean slate to see if the crash occurs (meaning no outstanding syncs running).
Today, I started using only the crop tool and it crashed after 49 images and then again after 90. The crashes occurred at 12:49pm today and 12:59. Hopefully you can track the crash logs.
After each crash, I lose the last two or three edits (crops on previous photos).
Let me know if there's anything else I can do to help.
At the time of the edits, I had 5GB free.

Thanks,
Michael
