Why can I not still share videos from Lightroom CC back to my iPad Pro? This is ridiculous, I have brought this up any times before. Why can I share photos but not videos. I ONLY use an iPad, does anyone have any suggestions for how I get my videos back onto my device? Is there a work around? Also Adobe needs to add in this ability asap.

Note: This conversation was created from a reply on: Lightroom mobile: Ability to sync video from desktop Lightroom to Lightroom for m....

I am aware you can upload video to the cloud from an iPad. I want to be able to download the video back to my iPad so that I can share via text email etc. There is a feature to share photos back to your device but currently Adobe greys out the share button for sharing videos. This is ridiculous. I want access to my videos. I feel like Adobe is holding my videos hostage.

Ah, gotcha. So you're wanting to save to the camera roll or share to an external app. I'll split this out into a separate thread, as this one's more focused on uploading from Lightroom Classic.

One workaround right now might be to add the video to an album that you can share, and send the link to the album by text/email. That would allow the recipient to view and even download the video without it filling up anyone's email inbox too.

I want to second this as well. This functionality was available i think last year but somehow got removed in one of the updated builds. I only have an IOS Lightroom plan and have been reliant on the auto upload of my images and videos. I don't understand why i'm not allowed to bring my backed up videos back onto my ios devices if i want to edit them (say a video taken on iphone or backed up from iphone and then I want to edit on Ipad).

If there's a reason we can't re-access our own videos then it shouldn't be auto uploaded making one think they're safe and backed up for future use. Right now it's only useful to view in Lightroom IOS or Web. I can't get to them to edit in something like iMovie on my ipad without a HUGE amount of work.

Super disappointing.

Another update and still no ability to save my video back to my camera roll in LIghtroom CC on my iPad. I can only assume this is because of Adobes garbage program Rush and their attempts to force me subscribe to it in order to edit and then save back to my camera roll...Adobe, you need to come up with a better way to monitize Rush because I get more and more upset every day that I cannot do what I want with my own video.
