Lightroom 2015.7 Release Camera Raw 9.7
Raw file from Sony A7r
macS Sierra Version 10.12

Import, Open file in Develop, These bars appear on the image.  Return to library and the bars are now on the thumbnail too.  Screenshot of Lightroom below.

Lightroom 2015.7 Release Camera Raw 9.7
Same raw file.  In both cases, "Added to Lightroom".  The file resides on a network drive.
OS X El Capitan 10.11.6

No problems.  Lightroom works fine.

Perhaps there is a problem with the RAW conversion.  On both computers, software is up to date for downloads from the Adobe and Apple sites.

Any ideas?

The raw file is corrupt.
Several things may be causing the corruption- Network Drive connection, faulty Drive, Camera, Memory Card, USB cable, USB sockets, etc.
OS Previews or thumbnails may often look ok because they read only the embedded preview in the raw file.
Check the same image from a backup location.

Thanks Robert.  Both computers were accessing the same network drive for the RAW file (a Drobo 5N).  However, I copied the file to an external drive and created a test Lightroom database.  It worked fine.  I haven't had problems before with the Drobo for the location of Lightroom files but perhaps there is some combination of Drobo, Sierra, and the latest Lightroom that is resulting in the file appearing to be corrupt for Lightroom.
