Lightroom (LR6 & LR5) Hangs in Develop Module - Mac

My LR5 became unusable as it 'hangs' every time I open the Develop module, after upgrading to OS Yosemite. I reinstalled it several times - with no success. Yesterday, I decided to upgrade to a CC including LR6. After installation - I have exactly the same problem. (I have a laptop MacBook that does not have this problem). It is very, very frustrating!
I have a Mac mid-2011 running Yosemite 10.10.4.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

I don't know what OS Yosemite is, but this just started happening to me. Switch to develop module - HANG! Sometimes I'm lucky and get in to develop one photo, but as soon as I switch to another photo in Develop, it hangs. This happens on all my photos in the catalog. I just updated Lightroom yesterday. And now this started happening today.

If I turn off "Use Graphics Processor" in Preferences/Performance, the problem goes away. It's probably because I upgraded the graphics drivers yesterday. I imagine a lot of Lightroom users will have this problem, so I hope Adobe pressures AMD to have a fix for this real soon. I don't know how to downgrade my drivers back to what I had before.

I bought a new notebook with an nvidia GTX950M w/2GB, specifically because LR was too slow on my old one (it was aging anyway). I hope they fix this soon!
