Lightroom Desktop: Incorrectly identifying images as duplicates

I am importing my images to Lightroom (not Lightroom classic) and having an issue with the auto identification of duplicate images. It is incorrectly tagging some images as duplicates. They have different names, but were taken in sequence (relatively fast). There seems to be no import parameters that Ic an adjust. How do I overcome this?

Lightroom Desktop uses an internal hash to verify files as duplicates. Can you supply us two files which are different but Lightroom says are duplicates of one another?

Not sure that I can. I’m importing multiple images and not sure which are considered duplicates. It happens at import, and I can’t find a way to force the import.
