Lightroom is crashing on the develop tab. It prompts and error report. Any ideas what it could be?

LR may have updated last night because it started going through a navigation of updates when I started it.  When I go to the develop tab it crashes and asks to send an error report.  Now anytime I go in I can't do anything since it goes right to the develop tab. I have updated all drivers, uninstall, reinstalled, deleted LR 2015 I had and lowered my file count. I lost a day of editing and have to get editing.  Any help is appreciated.

Carefully follow the GPU-troubleshooting steps here: https://helpx.adobe.com/lightroom/kb/lightroom-gpu-faq.html#troubleshooting . Note that this article recommends doing a "clean install" of the graphics drivers, which is more involved than simply updating them.

In the Preferences > Performance tab, does the "Use Graphics Processor" option turned on?
If yes, could you please turn it off and try again?
Are you are submitting the crash report using the same e-mail id with which you logged into the forum?

Thanks,
Sunil

Jenny,
Can you confirm if you have shared the crash logs via Adobe crash reporter? Sharing a helpx document for your reference https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/kb/submit-crash-reports.html . Please input an email address while submitting the crash report, as it would help us to narrow down your crash report.

Also, it would be helpful if you can share the system info from 'Help->System Info' menu option on this forum.

Nicolas,

The crash report shared by you seems to be occurring due to a peripheral device(any removable device). As a troubleshooting step, can you launch Lightroom after removing these devices one-by-one to isolate the device causing this crash and let us know so that we can try to reproduce and debug this issue in-house.
