Lightroom: Intrusive Copy Settings tab every time you click Copy Button.

The copy settings menu that pops up and invades your work space every time you press the copy button you is annoying and should be a panel that expands off to the side somewhere. A lot of the time you don't need to check the settings. I suggest making a panel under the presets panel in the develop tab.

You can use the keyboard modifier key Option (Mac) or Alt (Windows) to suppress the Copy Settings dialog. It just members the Copy Settings from the last time.

Are you sure about this, Simon?  Opt Cmd Shift C opens the Copy Metadata dialog.

But wouldn't it be more natural for Lr to copy all settings, and move the choice  of specific settings to the Paste step, as a Paste Special?
