Lightroom: Incorrect, inconsistent "in collection" badge after Import From Another Catalog

When you import from another catalog, an imported photo can be left in an inconsistent state, with a badge indicating it is in a collection and the SDK indicating it is in the Quick Collection, even though the Quick Collection is empty and clicking on the badge says "Not in any collections". (Tested on LR 5.7.1, OS X 10.10.2)

For example, here's the Library thumbnail of such a photo, with a phantom badge:

Clicking on the badge says "Not in any collections":

The SDK shows that the photo is in an LrCollection object whose name is "quick collection":

To reproduce the problem:

1. Make 2 new catalogs.
2. Go to catalog 1.
3. Import one pic.
4. Add the pic to the Quick Collection.
5. Go to catalog 2.
6. Do Import From Another Catalog and import the entire catalog 1.
7. The imported pic will have the phantom collections badge and be in the inconsistent state.

This bug still occurs in LR 6 / LR CC 2015.

I'm having "Lightroom was left in inconsistent state", needing Force Quit one or two times every now and then with Lightroom CC and maybe this is related.

Any way to find if I'm having these kind of photos in my library?

I think that message comes from an unrelated problem: http://lmgtfy.com/?q=Lightroom+the+ca...
