Is there a way to set Lightroom defaults so it imports to the same drive/folder? It always wants to import to my OS drive, which is a small SSD. Each import I have to change the drive and the folder to import to. It seems to default to the same other settings that were last used (like build previews, develop settings, metadata, etc) why not import destination?

For me, Lr's default is to import to the last designated destination folder (directory). To prevent folder "overload", I change destination folder every three months. Manually, that is.
But hey, I merely use Windows.

You can save the import destination (and other choices in the import dialog) as an import preset (at the bottom of the dialog). That means that you can restore your choice with one click.

Thank you! I don't know how I missed that Import Preset at the bottom. Thanks!
