Lightroom renamed (I didn't) the location hard drive of my photos. Now all photos are missing. In other words, the files are not showing up under the navigator in the original hard drive, where there still really are. But are showing up listed in different hard drive, with all the files showing the ?. I try to locate the missing file, Photoshop does not locate and restore all nearby photos. How do I restore all my files (over 35,000) which lightroom says I have, but are almost all missing. Please don't tell me to look for missing folder. The entire hard drive is missing. I need solution to tell lightroom to reconnect to real hard drive that is holding photos.

You're on Windows, I assume?  Lightroom didn't change it - Windows did!  Try step 2 here: http://www.lightroomqueen.com/lightroom-photos-missing-fix/
