Lightroom external editing problem with photoshop

Each time when I start editing pictures from Lightroom in Photoshop I get problems when saving them. Normally an editited picture should be stacked with the original one in Lightroom. But in my case Lightroom reimports them as a new folder in Lightroom?

Any ideas how to fix this?

thanks Kirsten

Not sure about the image coming in as a new folder, but you should be able to change the stacking behavior in Preferences.

On the menu bar, go to Edit --> Preferences --> External Editing tab
Towards the bottom, there should be a checkbox titled "Stack with Original"

Check that box and the externally edited image should come back in stacked with the original.

Hi Tom,

I've tried several thinks. Staking is not working ether. I think it all depends on the several Folders. I've also reinstalled Photshop and Lightroom. No Effect.
