Lightroom feature request:

I would like a feature added to the Photo Merge menu in Lightroom, to combine a burst of images into a super-resolution dng similar to the results of pixel shift on some cameras but using the slight shifts of handheld shooting and realigning like you would a panoramic image but on a subpixel level I guess.
This is doable in photoshop, as well as in some other software like photoacute, but as far as I know not remaining in a raw workflow, which to me is what makes Photo Merge so great.
Some form of feedback on the quality/consistency of the final resolution across the frame would be good. A similar red overlay as the one for ghosting in HDR merging might do the trick.
