Hey everybody,

I have the problem that the creative cloud says that my 30 days trial expired, even if I am a member since months?! I have bought the student abo months ago, never had any problem, I updated Lightroom some time ago, and now every time I want to launch Lightroom it says that my develop module is disabled and I should by a membership. But if I look up in my ADOBE account on the Internet, I can see that I have an active membership an I even have already paid my month of august?!
I have already looked up on google for a solution but nothing helped, I signed out and signed back in, restarted the computer...nothing helps...

Can somebody give me a helpful solution?

Thank you guys!!

What often helps is to start Lightroom from within the CC App rather than in the usual way (dock/windows start menu). That forces the (re)connection between your CC subscription and the application. You don't have to do this all the time, just this once to solve the problem.

Thank you for your reply!
Well that doesn't work, as the CC app tells me that my trial expired....
I have already tried so many solutions: sign out from the cc app, sign out from the lightroom app, restart Mac, uninstall CC and lightroom...nothing helps!
What bothers me too, is that in the CC app it says that I have the lightroom 2015 and all the other programs (photoshop, after effects) are 2017 year, but I cannot update to a 2017 lightroom version

Paul,  Is your Adobe ID the same address that you use on this forum? I would like to check a couple of things on our end?

FWIW, Lightroom's latest version is CC2015.12. There is no CC2017 version currently.

Hey Rikk,

well I logged in with facebook here, so they should be identical. It's the same email adress.

I looked at your account and everything seems in order there.

Please make absolutely certain you are logging the CC App and Lightroom to the correct account. Sometimes people have multiple Adobe IDs but only one has a live subscription. I would just like you to double check.

I just checked it again, and it's the same email adress, I just have that single adobe ID...
Another problem which occurs all the time is that the moment I would to open lightroom (via CCapp or desktop), the application manager opens too and then it opens Lightroom several times, I can only stop it by using "force quit" on the macbook... Perhaps this has something to do with my first problem?

Looks like something is very out of sorts on this system. I can ask an agent to try and contact you to get you sorted out.

If you force quit Lightroom, the catalog files file will still be locked. https://helpx.adobe.com/lightroom/kb/lightroom-error-catalog-cannot-be-opened-lrcat-lock.html
