last update have problems working with videos, considering other program possibilities.
Have tried cc cleaner and reinstallation, maybe unable to read some codecs???
Have tried through finder, on copy of mov file from lr-catalog, to open with dobclick,
works fine, opens quicktime fine, but lightroom cant handle this.

Does the video have a high frame rate or is it 4k or larger?

now better upgraded to lr ver 9.1 and Catalina 10.15.2,
status: in grid view now i see my good old videos, in loupe view i dont,
but if i right click and chose show in finder and doubelclik her i see it all,
so now it just seem to be a loupeview problem?
this cant be a serious one? i hope to hear from you.
has my smart previews file gone missing, i beliewe i have seen a file
with a name like smart previews.?

hej try check> go to System preferences>security&privacy>privacy, files and folders check that lr has rights for all volumens and disks, or give lr full disk access, why these are changed under
installation of new lr og catalina is a mystery to mee, and why is this matter
not controlled and handled when you upgrade.
