Lightroom Classic: Slow to update Catalog after startup

When I launch LR Classic CC. The system takes upwards of 2 minutes to update the # of items in the catalog before I can start to use it. I have LR on 3 separate HD's  catalog on a ESATA 7200rpm HD and my pictures on a  separate ESATA HD and main Programs on my C: SSD.  I moved Catalog to a 7200RPM HD due to my catalog filled up my 500gb SSD.  I try to compress the Catalog and also keep my catalog and Photo's defragged. I break my pictures down by YEAR then Month and then Date for events. Current Catalog I have 166k pictures for previous 2 years and then I move older pictures off to a 4th Archival drive but attached to ly LR catalog.   Anyone have issues with there catalog populating the # of entries? I dont know if I should export pictures to a separate catalog? (Note Catalog is a mixture of JPG/RAW/Video) Just trying to get the speed back.
Attached is a screen grab. Any thoughts?t  Thoughts

You've got a medium-large catalog of 161K photos, which normally shouldn't be a problem. Some initial troubleshooting:

1. Do you have hundreds of Develop presets, by any chance?

2. Do Help > System Info and copy/paste the first ten lines or so here.

Also, how many smart collections do you have?

There is a similar post at the below link. Probably should merge this post and continue the discussion at the older post.
