Camera Raw/Lightroom Classic/Ecosystem Histogram feature request

It would be great to select the option to show the areas in an image (using a color overlay) that are affected by the Blacks, Shadows, Exposure, Highlights & White slides when hovering the mouse over the respective slider, or section in the histogram.

It also would be great if, making a selection, or masking an area of the image, the histogram would show the tonal distribution within this selection.

Both features would greatly enhance the RAW workflow by visually providing feedback which areas of an image are going to be affected by specific adjustments.

Not in front of my LR Classic now, but I recall pressing the Opt key on Mac (Alt on Windows) while shifting the respective sliders might give you what you asked for as a monotone graphic over the image?..

UPDATE: Sorry, my advice above is incorrect. If you press the Opt/Alt key while shifting the sliders, the image turns to black and only shows areas that are clipped, not areas that are affected like you asked...
