Lightroom Classic: Forgets HSL panel settings when exiting Develop module

I’m using latest Lightroom Classic CC on MacOS Mojave. I sometimes adjust color specific luminance, occasionally adjust color-specific saturation, and just about never adjust hue. However, when I leave the Develop module and return, Lightroom shifts the selected parameter back to hue. I have to click luminance or saturation column each time to get back to what I want to edit with the sliders.

Stephen, I tried for about 20 minutes and couldn't repeat what you are seeing. The Luminance or Saturation slider selection remains active across images and across modules.  I even tried selecting Luminance and then went to Web, Print, Slideshow, Book, Map and then Library. When I got back to Develop it was still on Luminance

If I close Lightroom and restart it remembers my last selection as well.

Does this misbehavior you are seeing persist across a restart of Lightroom? A restart of the computer?

This misbehavior has persisted for several days, yes, including Mojave and Lightroom restarts. I'm not sure when it started but it's been at least a week or so since I noticed. Here's a video to prove I'm not going bananas.

It just occurred to me that the Loupedeck+ editing console I'm trying might well be to blame. I don't have it plugged in at the moment but when I did, I think it had the Hue of HSL selected. Maybe the Loupedeck software remembers that.

Hi Stephen,

This is because the plugin is opening the Hue panel every time Develop module is opened.

Thanks,

Yes indeed, I just tried quitting the Loupedeck software and it stopped grabbing the hue section. Thanks, all!
