Lightroom Classic 8.0: Remove photo causes the photo display to go blank - intermittently

For the last few versions of updates, when I perform a REMOVE PHOTO > REMOVE, the main photo display goes blank and I cannot figure out how to get it back unless I exit Adobe Lightroom Classic CC, and reopen the program. Is there a way to "refresh" the screen, or better yet eliminate the problem? The problem is intermittent, about 50% of the time. The version I am currently using a PC, with release 8, Camera Raw 11, Build 1193777.

First check and disable, turn off, the option to use the GPU in the LR Preferences on the Performance tab. Then test.
If that doesn't solve the problem make sure the GPU drivers are up to date.

That was it. I disabled the GPU and the problem is gone. Thanks!
