Are you a Mac or WIndows user, Dimitry? What OS version? Can you give us an idea of how much additional drain on the battery is? Is it twice as fast draining?

macOS 10.13.4 (17E202). It drains all MacBook Pro power in 3-4 hours.

What was normal drain-down prior to this update?

I'm not sure that the issue appeared after update (but it's possible). Normally, I can use MacBook for the whole day.

Also macOS shows that Lightroom is the highest consumer of the battery.

Can you post a screen capture of your activity monitor showing Lightroom's high idle usage?

I just ran a two hour battery test on a 2017 MBPr. I started at 88% and in two hours have dropped to 73% with Lightroom open and idle the entire time. Lightroom is using very minimal power as it sits idling. Currently it's Average Energy Impact is hovering at 1.54 - less that Finder & Mail and about 1/4 of what Google Chrome is using.  My current battery session is 24:03 and I have 5:58 remaining.
