Lightroom Classic 8.0: Keeps crashing in normal tasks

I've been stumbling on my iMac to get Lightroom to be stable. It crashes at the most inconvenient times.

Sometimes when:

- Exporting images
- Masking out an effect with the adjustment brush
- Selecting images
- After launch clicking File in the top menu, about to change to another catalog
- Reorganizing images into different collections

So far I've not gotten any responses back for my crash reports to Apple and Adobe. Which I kind of didn't expect as I've never gotten anything back.

However I did find a few topics here where you were able to locate the reports, which brings me joy and hope that this can be solved.

I'm on:

macOS High Sierra
Version 10.13.6
iMac 27-inc Late 2012
Processor 3.4 GHz Intel Core i7
Memory 32gb 1600 MHz DDR3
Gfx NVIDIA GeForce GTX 680MX 2048mb

-

Edit: I might just update my computer to the newest as this article says my iMac can handle the newest OS. Originally I was afraid to update for this reason.

Santi,

I reviewed crash reports under the email address you've used to sign into this forum and find nothing from you in the last 45 days.

Do you submit the crash reports under a different email address perhaps?

Another note: Are the crash reports you are submitting Adobe or Apple reports?
